Now you can apply Chessie's unique flair to your home with works of art by Janet Hawken, the creative force behind Chessie's.  Ms. Hawken started her career as an ambassadress for the cotton industry traveling the world promoting cotton.  In 1975 she began a long lasting career in the women's clothing industry by founding Chessie's.

After a period of coordinating celebrity liaisons with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, she decided to add oil painting to her repertoire.  She has become known for her woodsy outdoor and water scenes as well as  her pet portraits.
